Graduate Programs
The Plant Center faculty have a strong commitment to graduate education, and various assistantships are available leading to MS or PhD degrees. The Plant Center promotes graduate education by fostering synergistic interactions among faculty who share a common interest in plant genetics, plant molecular biology and associated disciplines, and who are housed in different units on campus and have complementary areas of expertise.
Students do not apply through the Center, but through the Graduate School, which forwards the application to the relevant department. Visit UGA's Graduate School for application information. Applications to the Graduate School should clearly indicate the student's department of interest. Applicants are strongly advised to contact the faculty under whom they would like to study prior to applying.
